Digital Kitchen; a production studio that has also worked on opening title sequences for 'Six Feet Under' and 'Dexter' has done an amazing job at the title sequence for the hit US series 'True Blood'.
Featuring the song 'Bad Things' performed by Jace Everett, it reveals the southern darkness of religion and sex.

The production company wanted to construct the sequence around the idea of "the whore in the house of prayer". Combing the supernatural, baptism, redemption and the corruption of our simple minds when faced with "religious fanaticism" and "sexual energy". Some shots within the opening title sequence use a Polaroid process when it came to including the blood blotches.

This is worth a look, and I am a fan of Dexter and True Blood so it makes all the better. Give them a go!
